It gives me great pride and pleasure to introduce a local magazine for animal lovers in Sarasota and Manatee counties! Published six times a year, this full color, glossy publication focuses on our faithful companions, both large and small, who bring so much happiness to our lives and are such valued members of our families.

Since Sarasota Pet was launched in 2007, we have more than doubled in size, growing from 12 pages with our first issue to 28 pages in our current issue! We are also expanding our distribution and circulation throughout Sarasota County and into Bradenton in the months to come.
Continue to watch for our progressive growth and expansion!
Sarasota Pet promises to bring readers new perspectives on providing excellence in animal care by offering:
- Medical advice from area veterinarians and medical specialists
- Professional training tips from leading animal experts
- Easy how-to's for properly caring for all breeds and species of animals
- Community profiles on authorities in our area who have dedicated their lives to improving animal welfare and well-being
- Educational and entertaining information that will help readers bring out the best in their own pets

In order to bring increased value to the community, Sarasota Pet has partnered with an important organization: the Humane Society of Sarasota County (HSSC). To assist in the noble work performed daily by HSSC staff members and volunteers, Sarasota Pet will donate $1.00 for each subscription sold to HSSC.
Our goal is to achieve 10,000 to 15,000 subscriptions by the end of 2008, which will generate a $10,000 to $15,000 donation to the HSSC's ongoing work!
